Well, our awesome Corey duo (Corey Feldmen and Corey Haim) of the 80's might have died two decades ago, but half of the pair actually died this morning. Corey Haim, 38, died this morning at 3am of an apparent drug overdose. Haim continued working on many projects even after his fame of The Lost Boys and Licensed to Drive...although none them were worth watching to be honest. It's known that he was working on several projects right now as well.
I hate when they call these deaths "Accidental drug overdose". The word 'accidental' should not take place because then it makes it sound like a complete mistake that they were doing drugs in the first place. They knew what they were doing, they knew the consequences, and that's that.

If there's one person who saw this news today and reacted in shock, I'll be really surprised. Dude's nose has got to just be wall papered with coke by now not to mention the alcohol and whatever else he's been putting into his body for years.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that 'accidental' should never be associated with drug overdose except for in a case like Michael Jackson where it was clinical and administered by a doctor. I even posted on twitter this morning that drug overdoses should be listed as suicides, because Corey Haim has been killing himself for decades.
I honestly could not care less that he is dead. He was in like three movies that I like when he was a kid and has done nothing but straight garbage since.
AGREEED.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bummer because he died because I hate death...but what a LAAAME way to go.
What a waste. If you're going to go out by your own hands, this is probably the most useless. I agree on the whole 'accidental' argument. So I guess what they're saying is he tripped, landing in a pile of coke and had the sniffles so he snorted it all up. Whatever.
ReplyDeleteNothing too surprising here. It sucks to see anyone go, especially in such a senseless manner.
